The chief of Yugye Village has a precious sword handed down from generation to generation. Tempted by the treasure, bandits kill him and his wife and leaves Won-deok, the young son of the chief, with a scar on an eye. One-eyed Won-deok gets trained in martial arts from a famous monk and defeats the bandits in revenge of his parents. Won-deok success his father and becomes the chief of Yugye Village.
