BIOGRAPHY
Kim Ki-Ju was a very famous superstar in Korea, with a special acting talent. He always slants his head to one side in a conversation, to show that he’s listening, and is known by fans in the UK as ‘Tilted’. Kim was very good friends with director John Woo, whom brought Kim over to Hong Kong, to star in a few Golden Harvest productions. Unbeknown to many fans, Kim Ki-Ju unfortunately passed away on 25th October 2001, from diabetes related illness. Starring in well over 100 films, Kim Ki-Ju will always be remembered, together with Lo Lieh, for their career best performances in the Shaw Brothers classic King Boxer (1972).
